Softball Recap: Kofa Takes a Loss

Kofa lost against Chandler back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Kofa lost 18-3 to Chandler. The Kings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hailey Alvarez was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jazmyn Martinez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Kofa's record is now 3-10. As for Chandler, with the victory, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kofa will challenge Red Mountain at 3:45 p.m. on April 4. As for Chandler, they will face off against Mountain View at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
