KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 12, 2024 on Friday. They lost 72-49 to St. Mary's. The Panthers have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lynn Vo-Tech). They came out on top against Lynn Classical by a score of 62-55 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Lynn Vo-Tech's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
