Florence had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They never let the Pearl Pirates get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. Florence might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by four goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Pearl from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Kadie Carroll led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Florence's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Pearl, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Florence will take on St. Andrew's Episcopal at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pearl, they will face off against Ridgeland at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
