Eastern piles up the points against Tipton

Recap: Eastern Comets vs. Tipton Blue Devils
The Eastern Comets scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 57-22 win over Tipton at home. The victory was just what Eastern needed coming off of a 53-29 loss in their prior game.
Marly Coan was on fire: she dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Jenna Odle, who scored 16 points along with five steals.
Eastern is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season. As for Tipton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-17.
Eastern will head out on the road to face off against Delphi Community at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tipton, they will be playing at home against Frankton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Frankton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Saturday.
