Volleyball Recap: Sadie Pahlman Key Part of Team Effort in Mustangs Win

Overton saw some tournament action on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Kennard Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Overton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sadie Pahlman out in front who had 23 assists and four aces. That's the most aces Pahlman has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryleigh Nelson, who had 15 digs.

Overton's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Kennard, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Overton will be taking part in a tournament against Kemp at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kennard, they will host Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
