After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ogemaw Heights, Standish-Sterling was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They won by a set and slipped past the Pinconning Spartans 3-2. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in September.

Standish-Sterling's victory bumped their record up to 11-9-6. As for Pinconning, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Standish-Sterling will square off against rival St. Louis at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Pinconning is set to challenge their familiar foe Gladwin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
