Calumet Christian came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Calumet Christian took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-9.

Makenna Landkrohn paced Calumet Christian's offense, picking up five kills. Landkrohn got some help from Jenna Henthorne and her 18 assists.

Calumet Christian's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Calumet Christian has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Hammond Bishop Noll on the 23rd. As for Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family, they will welcome HomeSchool Resource Center at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
