Basketball Recap: Manteca Takes a Loss

Manteca lost against Ripon Christian back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Manteca Buffaloes fell 53-44 to the Ripon Christian Knights. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ripon Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jake Vander Veen, who posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amos Cady, who scored 14 points.

Manteca now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Ripon Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Manteca didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-32 victory against Chavez on the 14th. As for Ripon Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-54 defeat against Burbank on the 14th.
