Basketball Recap: Southwest Virginia Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Boys' Home last Thursday, Southwest Virginia Academy came back down to earth. The Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors lost 77-56 to the Spirit HomeSchool Warhawks on Saturday. The Conquerors have struggled against the Warhawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Southwest Virginia Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Spirit HomeSchool, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Southwest Virginia Academy has already played their next matchup, a 77-46 loss against James River HomeSchool on the 1st. As for Spirit HomeSchool, they will welcome Veritas Collegiate Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
