Baseball Recap: King City's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

After a string of four wins, King City's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 11-7 to the St. Joseph Christian Lions. The Wildkats were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

King City saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryder Sample, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one triple. The Wildkats are 3-1 when Sample posts two or more stolen bases, but 3-4 otherwise.
