Baseball Recap: Ripley Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ripley's offense. They lost 9-0 to the Peabody Golden Tide on Tuesday. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Ripley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Peabody, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-13.

Ripley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Peabody, they will square off against Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Chargers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Golden Tide's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
