After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Joseph, Righetti was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Templeton Eagles 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Serena Hernandez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits.

On the hitting side, Righetti's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ari Martinez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Righetti's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Templeton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-8.

As of now, neither Righetti nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
