Basketball Recap: Lake Dallas Now 11-1 over Last 12 Games

Lake Dallas had won three straight games and Presley Scott did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Lake Dallas Falcons came out on top against the Van Alstyne Panthers by a score of 45-34 thanks in part to Scott, who went 7 of 17 on her way to 20 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Another player making a difference was Savannah Morrison, who posted five points along with five assists and five boards. She also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Lake Dallas is 14-3 when she posts at least three steals, but 6-7 otherwise.

Lake Dallas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season. As for Van Alstyne, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-20 record this season.

As of now, neither Lake Dallas nor Van Alstyne have any future games scheduled.
