Softball Recap: Rosholt Hornets vs. Tigerton Tigers        
        
		
            
 After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Pittsville, Rosholt was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They skirted past the Tigerton Tigers  4-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rosholt also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2023.
  Addi Gagas made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out 12 batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   two  hits. Gagas has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Gagas was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run and two  runs.
 Gagas wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Gracie Flees, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Rosholt's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Tigerton, they now  have a losing record at 5-6.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rosholt will  square off against Almond-Bancroft at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. One thing working in Almond-Bancroft's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last three games. As for Tigerton, they will head out on the road to  take on  Marion at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
