Volleyball Recap: Wednesday's Loss Ends Northland's Winning Streak

After flying high against Mifflin back in September, Northland came back down to earth. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Worthington Kilbourne Wolves on Wednesday. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-5, 25-12.

Worthington Kilbourne found their leader in sophomore Audra Bailey, who had five digs and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Bailey. Nora Cheslik was another key player, getting four aces.

Northland's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Worthington Kilbourne, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Northland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Worthington Kilbourne, they will challenge Westerville Central at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
