Volleyball Recap: Cuyama Valley Takes a Loss

Cuyama Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shandon Outlaws. The Bears were not able to make up for their loss to the Outlaws from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Cuyama Valley ultimately came up short, they really made Shandon work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 15-25, 26-24.

Cuyama Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Cuyama Valley and Shandon will both be playing Maricopa the next time they take the court. The Bears will head out to face the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Outlaws will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
