Lincoln came into Saturday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Ypsilanti Grizzlies by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Railsplitters also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Brooklyn Troy, who had four digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August. Kayden Bentley also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Lincoln was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. They are 2-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Ypsilanti, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Lincoln has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Dearborn on the 20th. As for Ypsilanti, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southfield Arts & Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
