Volleyball Recap: Brentwood Academy Eagles vs. Green Hill Hawks

Brentwood Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Green Hill Hawks on Wednesday, sneaking past 3-2.

Brentwood Academy took Green Hill into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 23-25, 19-25, 15-13.

Despite the loss, Green Hill still got an impressive performance from George Stevens, who had 14 kills, 13 aces, ten digs, and three blocks. Stevens is crushing it when it comes to aces: he's served at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Mason Bryan was another key player, getting 26 kills, four digs, and three blocks.

Having lost for the first time this season, Green Hill fell to 9-1.

Brentwood Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. After both having extra time off, Green Hill and Lebanon will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
