Dallas is 8-2 against Lebanon since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Dragons will head out to square off against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Dallas is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
Dallas had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt South Albany on Friday. The Dragons blew past the Redhawks 11-1. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Dragons considering their two-run performance the match before.

Madi Ruman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Maddi Jones was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Ava Woods was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs.
Meanwhile, Lebanon came up short against Silverton on Friday and fell 12-7.
Scarlett French made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 4-for-5 with two runs and one double.
Dallas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Lebanon, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-15.
Lebanon's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Dallas has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Lebanon, though, as they've been averaging only 2.2 strikeouts. Will Dallas keep running through batters, or will the Warriors buck the trend?
Dallas took their victory against Lebanon in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
