Basketball Recap: North Woods Comes Up Short

North Woods lost against Cherry back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The North Woods grizzlies were beaten by the Cherry Tigers 104-40. While losing is never fun, the grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 298th, while the Tigers are ranked 18th).

North Woods' defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Cherry, they pushed their record up to 27-1 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither North Woods nor Cherry have any future games scheduled.
