Basketball Recap: St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers vs. Pinewood Prep Panthers
St. John's Christian Academy lost against Pinewood Prep back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers took a blow against the Pinewood Prep Panthers, falling 83-55. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-26.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pinewood Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Heyward Moore, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 14 points. Those 14 points gave Moore a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre Green, who posted nine points and five rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for St. John's Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-9. As for Pinewood Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

As for Pinewood Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-42 win against Northside Christian Academy on the 4th.
