Basketball Recap: Marlboro Central Starts off Right with Win over Rondout Valley

Marlboro Central took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (and then some). They claimed a resounding 87-39 win over the Rondout Valley Ganders. The Dukes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Ganders, too.

Rondout Valley dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marlboro Central will be home for the holidays to greet Our Lady of Lourdes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rondout Valley, they will host Spackenkill at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
