Basketball Recap: Beaumont United Picks Up 11th Straight Win at Home

Beaumont United had won ten straight home games dating back to last season and Ashton Green did his part to make it 11 on Tuesday. The Beaumont United Timberwolves blew past the Lee Ganders, posting an 84-40 win thanks in part to Green, who went 11 of 17 on his way to 28 points along with seven assists and five steals. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Manuel, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 15 points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (two).

Beaumont United's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Lee, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.

Beaumont United will take on Port Neches-Groves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lee, they will square off against Sterling at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
