Soccer Game Preview: Waterloo vs. Penn Yan Academy

Waterloo hasn't had much luck against Penn Yan Academy recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Tigers will take on the Mustangs at 1:00 p.m. Waterloo has given up an average of 6.6 goals per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Waterloo fell victim to Naples and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Big Green Machines, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Waterloo can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 438th, while Naples are ranked 66th).

Meanwhile, Penn Yan Academy also failed to score in their most recent game. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Geneva on Wednesday. Penn Yan Academy haven't had much luck with Geneva recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Penn Yan Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Waterloo, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
