Boerne-Champion entered their tilt with Sinton on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Sinton Pirates with a sharp 66-44 victory. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 56th, while the Pirates are ranked 1438th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Boerne-Champion has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Sinton, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Boerne-Champion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 76-33 win against Lytle on the 28th. As for Sinton, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Victoria East at 1:30 p.m.
