The Parkview Christian Patriots put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Cornerstone Christian School by a score of 38-30. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Parkview Christian has scored all year.
Leading Parkview Christian to victory were Merryl Paul and Jada Smith. Paul scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Smith dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. The game was Smith's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Parkview Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Cornerstone Christian School, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkview Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Nebraska Christian on Friday. Cornerstone Christian School will be home for the holidays to greet Bishop Neumann on Friday. Bishop Neumann will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
