Basketball Recap: Knippa Skates Past Leakey with Ease

There's no place like home for Knippa, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Leakey Eagles 60-26 on Tuesday. That 34 point margin sets a new team best for the Crushers this season.

Knippa's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-11. As for Leakey, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Knippa is taking a road trip to square off against Comstock at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Leakey, they will welcome Nueces Canyon at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Leakey is facing Nueces Canyon at the right time seeing as Nueces Canyon is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
