Basketball Game Preview: Mount Tabor Spartans vs. West Forsyth Titans

Mount Tabor is on a ten-game streak of home wins, while West Forsyth is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Mount Tabor Spartans will host the West Forsyth Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Tuesday, Mount Tabor took their matchup with ease, bagging a 79-41 win over Parkland. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 21st, while the Mustangs are ranked 347th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, West Forsyth made easy work of East Forsyth on Tuesday and carried off a 68-44 victory.

West Forsyth has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season. As for Mount Tabor, their win bumped their record up to 19-4.

Things could have been worse for Mount Tabor, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 53-38 loss to West Forsyth when the teams last played back in January.
