There's no place like home for the Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against E.L. Haynes by a score of 57-45 on Saturday. For Washington Latin Public Charter School, this counts as revenge for the 62-61 defeat E.L. Haynes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.
E.L. Haynes' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jency Beatriz, who scored 15 points, and Juan Creamer who scored 14 points. Creamer scored a full 31.1% of E.L. Haynes' points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Victor Bruce Jr, who scored 6 points.
Washington Latin Public Charter School's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for E.L. Haynes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
