Volleyball Recap: Clarksville Takes a Loss

Clarksville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the New Washington Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-11.

Clarksville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-26. As for New Washington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-20.

Clarksville and New Washington could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. The Generals (ranked 421st) will meet Eastern (ranked 56th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, New Washington will face off against Borden at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (361 vs. 178).
