Octorara Area extends road winning streak to five

Recap: Octorara Area Braves vs. Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Octorara Area Braves ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They secured a 61-56 W over Lampeter-Strasburg. The victory was nothing new for Octorara Area as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Several Pioneers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chase Smucker, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Justin Glick, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Octorara Area's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Lampeter-Strasburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Octorara Area will be playing at home against Lancaster Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lancaster Catholic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 479th, while Octorara Area is ranked 106th). As for Lampeter-Strasburg, they will head out on the road to challenge Northern Lebanon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
