Basketball Recap: FAU High Comes Up Short + How To Watch

FAU High was the 58-43 winner over Jupiter Christian when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Owls took a blow against the Eagles on Thursday, falling 76-49. The Owls were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-13.

FAU High's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Tristan Etienne, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Shepherd Britton, who posted 18 points. Etienne is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. Antonio Mitkov was another key player, putting up six points.

Jupiter Christian found their leader in sophomore Robert Sawicki, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Reinstein, who made all 6 shots he took from beyond the arc to post 18 points.

FAU High now has a losing record of 1-2.

FAU High has already played their next contest, a 60-52 victory against Somerset Prep on the 1st. As for Jupiter Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-44 win against Lake Worth Christian on the 21st.
