Fans were treated to a Battle of the Bulldogs on Friday. The Grandview Bulldogs breezed past the Kearney Bulldogs to the tune of 67-39. Grandview has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 24 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Kearney lost, don't look at Brooke Paalhar. Despite the final result, she posted 14 points along with five assists and four steals. Paalhar has been hot, having posted four or more steals the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryleigh Van Emmerik, who scored five points.

The victory (which was Grandview's third in a row) raised their record to 10-6. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.3 points over those games. As for Kearney, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Grandview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 44-29 defeat against Central on the 7th. As for Kearney, they have also already played their next contest, a 42-37 loss against North Kansas City on the 3rd.
