Softball Recap: Bonham Comes Up Short

Bonham and Aubrey squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Bonham had to settle for second. They lost 12-0 to the Chaparrals. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bonham saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alayna Laisy, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Bonham now has a losing record of 11-12-1. As for Aubrey, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season.

While Bonham had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
