Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes Down Crosspointe Christian Academy in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Trinity Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the CrossPointe Christian Academy Cavaliers on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Trinity Christian was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-19.

Sydney Lane paced Trinity Christian's offense, picking up 15 kills. Lane got some help from Maddie Quick and her ten assists. Lane was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Trinity Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-14 record this season. As for CrossPointe Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 8-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Trinity Christian will challenge Alleluia Community on Saturday. CrossPointe Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
