Softball Recap: Harding University Falls to Hopewell in First Game of Season

Harding University kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 17-0 to the Hopewell Titans. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 17 in a row.

The victory got Hopewell back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harding University will venture away from home to face off against North Mecklenburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be North Mecklenburg's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Hopewell, they will head out on the road to challenge Mallard Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
