After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rayne, St. Scholastica was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the St. Martinville Tigers 21-1. That looming 21-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Doves yet this season.

St. Scholastica now has a winning record of 4-3. As for St. Martinville, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Scholastica will take on Episcopal at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Martinville, they will face off against Midland at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Midland has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12 runs per game on average), something St. Martinville will no doubt try to take advantage of.
