Softball Recap: Steinert Beats Northern Burlington for Their Third Straight Win

With a playoff win on the line, Steinert rose to the challenge on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Northern Burlington Greyhounds a 10-0 shutout. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Steinert's third in a row) raised their record to 19-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Northern Burlington, they moved to 13-10 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Steinert nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
