The two teams will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Dr. Phillips comes in on eight and Winter Haven on 18.

Dr. Phillips is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took down Doral Academy 72-54.

Meanwhile, Winter Haven faced Ocoee in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Winter Haven put the hurt on Ocoee with a sharp 65-41 win. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 20 points or more this season.

Dr. Phillips better keep an eye on Serenity Hardy. She was instrumental in Winter Haven's win, going 6-for-10 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points and three steals. Hardy's big performance that afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quin'Nya Gray De Sanders, who shot 62% from the field on her way to 16 points and four steals.

Winter Haven smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in six consecutive matchups.

Dr. Phillips' victory bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Winter Haven, their win bumped their record up to 26-2.

Dr. Phillips skirted past Winter Haven 65-62 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Does Dr. Phillips have another victory up their sleeve, or will Winter Haven turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
