After losing to Ayersville the last time they met, Wayne Trace decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wayne Trace Raiders were the clear victor by a 42-21 margin over the Ayersville Pilots on Thursday. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Ayersville saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kendyl Booher posted eight points in addition to five boards and three blocks.

Wayne Trace is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Ayersville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Wayne Trace is taking a road trip to square off against Allen East at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Wayne Trace comes in on three and Allen East on eight.
