Soccer Recap: Cane Bay Has No Trouble Against White Knoll

Cane Bay barely beat White Knoll the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cobras put the hurt on the Timberwolves with a sharp 7-0 victory on Friday. That's more bragging rights for Cane Bay, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their offense was hitting White Knoll from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Claire Orth led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The win made it two in a row for Cane Bay and bumps their season record up to 12-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for White Knoll, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, Cane Bay will challenge Ridge View at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cane Bay are facing Ridge View at the right time seeing as Ridge View are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. White Knoll does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
