Softball Recap: White Plains Comes Up Short

White Plains fell victim to Alexandria and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Alexandria Valley Cubs, falling 10-0. The Wildcats have struggled against the Valley Cubs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

White Plains' loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Alexandria, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as White Plains Wildcats take on Pell City Panthers at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Alexandria, they will be playing at home against Jacksonville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
