Basketball Recap: Purdue Polytechnic's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

Purdue Polytechnic suffered their biggest defeat since November 23, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 59-35 to the Ben Davis Giants. The match marked the Techies' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Purdue Polytechnic had strong showings from Te'Asia Briscoe, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 11 points in addition to seven boards and four steals, and Camile Starks, who posted five points. Briscoe is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Ben Davis found their leader in sophomore Shania Curry, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Curry has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Aubri Ingram, who had eight points and five steals.
