Football Game Preview: A-D-M Tigers vs. Glenwood Rams

A-D-M is 0-5 against Glenwood since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Tigers will face off against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in A-D-M's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

If A-D-M beats Glenwood with 42 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Tigers beat Jefferson on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 42-7. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 131st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Glenwood was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Denison-Schleswig 50-7. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Monarchs: they've now won eight in a row.

A-D-M's record is now 5-1. As for Glenwood, their record now sits at an identical 5-1.

A-D-M was taken down by Glenwood 54-18 when the teams last played back in October of 2019. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
