Soccer Recap: Norfolk Christian Starts Season with Victory at Home

Norfolk Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Portsmouth Christian Patriots a 5-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Harrison Shaffer as he scored four goals for his team.

Looking ahead, Norfolk Christian will venture away from home to square off against StoneBridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Portsmouth Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on New Life Academy at 4:30 p.m. on September 11.
