Basketball Recap: Auburn Adventist Triumphs

Summit Classical Christian School came into Monday's game looking for another win against Auburn Adventist, but John Andrew Dubreuil wouldn't allow it. The Auburn Adventist Falcons snuck past the Summit Classical Christian School Archers with a 70-64 victory on Monday thanks in part to Dubreuil, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 15 boards. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Summit Classical Christian School lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Will Simon, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 boards. What's more, Simon also racked up four assists, the most he's had since back in January. Another player making a difference was Jake Gledhill, who posted 22 points and seven rebounds.

Auburn Adventist now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Summit Classical Christian School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Auburn Adventist didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-44 win against Sultan on the 11th. As for Summit Classical Christian School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 79-24 victory against Crosspoint on the 11th.
