The win was a breath of fresh air for the Hurricanes as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Somerset Academy South Homestead's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Archbishop Carroll, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Somerset Academy South Homestead and Colonial Christian will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
