Baseball Recap: Brooks Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hatton last Friday, Brooks came back down to earth. The Lions fell just short of the Central Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Brooks dropped their record down to 7-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Brooks beat the Wildcats by a score of 5-3 on Saturday.
