Basketball Recap: Hifz Academy Takes a Loss

Hifz Academy came up into this matchup off a tough 71-point loss last Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Universal Academy Falcons by a score of 39-36 on Wednesday. The Pegasuses have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hifz Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Universal Academy, with the victory, they broke their 16-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-12.

Hifz Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Champions Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 29th. Universal Academy has already played their next game (against Cristo Rey Tampa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
