Softball Recap: Crater Takes a Loss

Crater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Reed Raiders, falling 12-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Comets of the 6-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Crater's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Reed, their record is now 6-3-2.

Coming up, Crater will square off against Spanish Springs at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Reed, they will face off against Livingston at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Livingston will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Reed surely won't give up without a fight.
